Texas Crawfish Co. to Open Conroe Restaurant

**Texas Crawfish Co. Announces Permanent Conroe Location, Targeting 2026 Opening**

Conroe, TX – The popular Texas Crawfish Co., a local favorite known for its mouth-watering boiled seafood, is officially making the leap from food truck to a permanent brick-and-mortar restaurant. Owners Aaron and Tiffany Nelson have signed a lease for the former site of The Corner Pub & Deli, located at 1210 N. Loop 336 in Conroe, marking a significant expansion for the family-owned business.

The Nelsons secured the prime Conroe location this past January, and envision an early summer 2026 opening, with June 2026 currently slated as the target month. This move represents a major milestone for Texas Crawfish Co., which has built a loyal following since launching as a food truck in 2019.

“This is a dream come true for us,” said Aaron Nelson. “We’ve been overwhelmed by the support from the Conroe community as a food truck, and we’re incredibly excited to finally have a permanent home where we can welcome everyone to a more expansive experience.”

The new restaurant will feature an approximately 2,200-square-foot interior space, complemented by a significant outdoor patio, designed to foster a lively, family-friendly atmosphere. Extensive renovations are planned both inside and out, transforming the site that previously housed a beloved local pub and deli. The redesigned space will include a full kitchen, a dedicated bar, a spacious dining area, and a covered patio for comfortable outdoor seating, regardless of the weather.

Tiffany Nelson emphasized the vision for the new establishment. “We want Texas Crawfish Co. to be more than just a restaurant; we want it to be a community gathering spot,” she explained. “Our goal is to create a welcoming environment where families and friends can come together to enjoy great food, drinks, and good times.”

While the food truck has become famous for its signature boiled crawfish, shrimp, corn, potatoes, and sausage, the new full kitchen will allow for a significantly expanded menu. Patrons can look forward to new offerings such as fried fish, crispy boudin balls, juicy burgers, classic chicken strips, and an array of additional side options. A full bar service will also be available, featuring a selection of beer, wine, spirits, and refreshing frozen drinks.

The transition to a brick-and-mortar location reflects a growing trend for successful food truck operations and speaks to Conroe’s dynamic culinary landscape and ongoing growth. The Nelsons are confident their expanded offerings will appeal to a broader customer base while retaining the quality and flavor that made their food truck a local hit.

Looking further ahead, the Nelsons view this Conroe establishment as the foundational step for future growth. “Long-term, we’re hoping this Conroe location will be the first step toward expanding into other Texas cities,” Aaron Nelson added, underscoring their ambitious vision for Texas Crawfish Co.
